2020 Sanford HealthHack Finalists Announced
A HUGE thank you to all who submitted a solution for the 2020 Sanford HealthHack! We had over 150 registrations and 20+ solutions submitted.
The judges were impressed both with the level of creativity shown and the seriousness with which each of you took on this challenge. After much consideration, they have narrowed down the entries to ten finalists. These teams scored the highest in the judging criteria: scale, complexity, innovation, impact and quality. Ties were broken by total number of public votes a submission received. NOTE: These ten teams will now be invited to give a live demonstration on Friday, Nov. 6th. These live-streamed demos will decide who wins 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
In alphabetical order, the 2020 Sanford HealthHack finalists are:

- Early Issue Detector - iOS App
- Grow Your Health: An expandable app for virtual healthcare
- Health Memo
- HemoCount - An AI-based white blood cell counting platform
- Med Track
- Spork Health
- Team8_Sanford_Hackapp
- TurboMed
- Virtual Doctor
Congratulations to all the finalist teams and thank you to every single team that submitted. The decisions were NOT easy! Whether or not you and your teams made the finalists list - you are all invited to attend the live Demo Day this Friday, Nov. 6th from 2pm to 4:30pm CDT. Watch DevPost and Slack for an invitation to the live streamed event.
Final winners (including Audience Choice) will be announced after the final judging happens live on Demo Day.
The finalist teams listed above will receive a separate invitation to the event that will allow you to give a live demo. The demo can be a repeat of your recorded DevPost submission (a quick overview and a demo) and should take five minutes. The judges will then have five minutes to ask questions of your team.

And remember: no matter the outcome of this finalist selection or the judging to come on Demo Day, you should all be proud of the work you've accomplished.
